Daily Dare: Dare to Repent

Continuing the 30 Day Challenge: Hope for America. . .

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Psalm 91:7,8

The battle lines are drawn. There is a side that stands for God, and there is a side that is “wicked” as this verse declares. We can each let God define for us what “wicked” means to Him. He will also make it vividly clear what righteousness is to Him if we ask. The promise of “seeing the reward of the wicked,” not experiencing it, comes to those who are “dwelling in the secret place of the Most High from Psalm 91:1. We are encouraged in 2 Chronicles 7:14:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This verse is for today, not yesterday. He will do what He says He will do! Will we?

Daily Dare: Dare to repent today. Dare to humble yourself and pray and seek His face and turn from wicked ways, as God reveals them to you. Let us repent for ourselves individually and for our country, and let us thank Him that He forgives our sin and heals our land.
