Day 11: 100 Words on Recognizing Lies

This is Day 11 of the Write 31 Days Challenge. To get caught up from Day 1, click here.

Truth or Lies?

You will never make it.

No one cares about you.

Bad things are going to happen.

You will run out of money.

You are worthless.

No one listens to you.

God will not answer your prayers.

There is no way out.

No one reads or cares about your blog.

How do you recognize a lie?

Is it something you would say to someone you’re trying to help?

Is it something that God would say to you?

Does it give you hope?

Does it have the sound of life to it?

Does it come from a Voice of Love?

If you answer “no” to any of these questions, you have uncovered a lie.

Find the truth in His word. Allow only the truth to stay in your mind.

Your mind will be renewed.

You will see your life transformed into God’s best for you.

Post note: Writing only 100 words on a subject is more challenging than I anticipated. It’s a process, and I’m counting success for writing the shortest posts I’ve ever written. Any suggestions?

Day 10: 100 Words on Declaring Truth

Every promise in the Bible is truth.

All too often our lives do not prove the truth that is in the Word.

Our lives should be an example of the truth of the Word.

The only reason our lives are not exemplary of the truth is that our mind is not renewed to the truth.

We have accepted lies from the enemy as truth because our lives “prove” those lies to be true.

Renewing our mind is choosing to declare truth according to God’s Word.

When this truth becomes a part of the fiber of our being, our lives miraculously change.

This is true as surely as night follows day.

It takes patience. It is a process.

Declare truth.
