This is Day 17 of the Write 31 Days Challenge. To get caught up from Day 1, click here.

One foot in front of the other. . .That’s right. One step. . .then another. . .then another.

It’s only a hundred words. You can’t think of anything powerful to write, yet you must. You must keep on. You must complete the challenge.

You’ve learned the importance of identifying a lie, yet you hear one and you forget for a moment, then you remember, and you shine light on it.

You’ve been finding truth, although it seems faint and far away, yet you move closer.

You say the truth out loud, and again, and again and again. You don’t see it yet, you wonder. . .will I ever?

And you put one foot in front of the other. You speak one word after the other, and then you see it.

It’s a process. Day by day. One step. One word.

Keep going.
