Day 16: 117 Words on Believing

This is Day 16 of the Write 31 Days Challenge. To get caught up from Day 1, click here.

We want to believe. We think we believe. We say we believe, but our emotions give us away.

The life we now have is a result of our innermost beliefs. It is only through changing those beliefs that we will  see something different in our lives.

We may accept something as true in our mind and by “faith,” but true believing is deeper than this.

Nurture the belief and allow it to grow until it produces fruit.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:24

Day 19: 128 Words On Knowing Truth

If you want to know the truth, look in your heart.  God speaks truth to your heart. You will know what God would say to you. He would never tell you how inadequate you are or compare you to someone else. It is not His nature to tell you how bad things are or that there is no hope. Recognize the truth that is being spoken in your heart, truth that you instinctively know.

Look in your heart for truth and declare it repeatedly until it becomes a new deeply rooted belief. When you renew your mind to a new belief, you will view life from this vantage point, and you will be free.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32
